Tshiamo Farms: Strategic Growth
Traditional farming meets long-term potential. Currently ploughed once a year in harmony with ancestral methods, we are preparing for the future of regional food production.
Modernizing the Traditional
Tshiamo Farms is currently dedicated to Botswana’s staple foods (Maize, Sorghum, Beans, Watermelons), utilizing rain-fed traditional methods between October and February. However, its location in Kumakwane is its greatest asset.
As a peri-urban village, Kumakwane offers the infrastructure and market access required to scale. We are positioned to bridge the gap between family-based agricultural operations and high-demand urban markets.
Despite the challenges of water supply in the region, our strategic planning focuses on sustainability and infrastructure reliability to support long-term agribusiness and livestock production.

Market Proximity
Convenient access to Gaborone’s economic center provides direct links to logistics, veterinary services, and a large consumer population.
Infrastructure Potential
With ongoing electricity expansion and road improvements in Kumakwane, Tshiamo Farms is set to evolve into a modern agro-commercial activity center.
Rural Lifestyle
We maintain a quiet, village environment that supports sustainable livestock farming and crop cultivation while ensuring family-based stability.
